| Recruitment and assessment of candidates |
Unlike many employment services that rely solely on classified advertising to find their pool of candidates, Staff Right has the ability to attract candidates through the many networking organizations that we are involved with. Furthermore, we will recruit candidates specifically for clients based on their specific skill requirements. This will allow us to find candidates that normally would not be looking for new employment.
Each candidate is required to fill out the necessary application and tax forms. They will then undergo various tests (as required by the client) to ensure each is well versed in their stated area of discipline. We are able to run a background check and drug test on candidates if requested.
The next step is to go through an interview with one of our Staffing Managers. Each candidate is asked a series of questions pertaining to their education, work experience, job preference, skills, professional attitude and other work related information. We then complete an internal employee profile to determine the candidates ability to work for us.
Reference checks are required from three business related professionals. These references must be from supervisors, work related peers, and/or college professors. Our questions center on several areas including attitude, punctuality, attendance, ability to perform, dependability, cooperation, quality and quantity of work.
After placing a candidate, a Staff Right representative will contact both the client and employee to inquire how the assignment is progressing. This ensures we are proactive in detecting any potential problems and guarantees mutual satisfaction.
